Foundation Derbyshire have confirmed that the Jefford Weller Fund have agreed to fund 6 Home Street Home sessions in 2 different secondary schools in the borough of Erewash. This means that roughly 300 14-16 year olds will have a raised awareness of homelessness, will have broken the stereotypes around homeless people and have increased knowledge about where to get help and support should it ever happen to them in the future.
It also gives our Peer Educators more volunteer experience and the opportunity to share their stories.
