Albany Infants School have been collecting food on the run up to their Harvest Festival.
The children have been learning about people who don’t always have enough food and wanted to donate the food they had collected to a local cause.
Their amazing efforts were celebrated in assembly and they invited Broxtowe Youth Homelessness to attend and collect their food donations.
It was a lovely assembly with the children focusing on how thankful they are for the food they have.
