September 2016 – The Derbyshire High Sheriff Fund have granted Broxtowe Youth Homelessness the funds to deliver our ‘Home Street Home’ workshops in Friesland School throughout October and November.
Our ‘Home Street Home’ workshops raise awareness, breakdown stereotypes and equip young people with the knowledge and confidence to seek help as early as possible if ever faced with homelessness.
Due to changes to funding we haven’t been able to visit Friesland recently so we are really looking forward to the sessions and rebuilding a strong relationship with the school.
