On Saturday July the 6th we celebrated 40 years of BYH.
Staff & service users past and present, other professionals, supporters and community leaders gathered together at the beautiful Canalside Heritage Centre to celebrate this huge milestone.
One of our first ever Peer Educators attended the event and it was amazing to catch up with her and find out how far she had come. She is living proof that homelessness does not have to define you! There were lots of familiar faces too, including previous & current members of the staff team and management committee. Notts TV also did a piece for their Notts Today programme.
The evening was one of celebration, reflection, tears & laughter and was enjoyed by all.
A massive shout out and huge thank you to the team at Canalside Heritage Centre for the beautiful venue, delicious buffet and their hard work on the night.
