Last year Broxtowe Youth Homelessness were contacted by Thunder Man, his 7 year old creator, Xander Goodwin and Xander’s Dad. Xander had created Thunder Man nearly 3 years ago for a school project and since then he has been the face of various campaigns and charities, including anti-bullying. Last year Xander had come across a homeless man who inspired him to see what he could do to help homeless people in his area. Luckily for us Xander and his parents came across Broxtowe Youth Homelessness and Xander decided he would like to support us!
Over the last year Xander has been selling Thunder Man t-shirts, designed by famous graphic artists, has raised our profile on social media and also held and auction in aid of us.
Xander came in to visit us at the beginning of January and presented us a cheque for £175.50!!!
We want to say a massive thank you to Xander, his family and of course Thunder Man!!!
