BROXTOWE YOUTH HOMELESSNESS
MAKING A REAL DIFFERENCE
IN NOTTINGHAMSHIRE & DERBYSHIRE…
Homelessness happens to ordinary people and it can be devastating to the lives of those who experience it. There are long-term consequences beyond housing: physical and mental health, financial stability, education, employment and self-esteem are all affected…
… At BYH, we work tirelessly to mitigate the impact of youth homelessness throughout Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. The project provides support for young people aged 16-25 years old who have experienced homelessness or are at risk of homelessness. We aim to prevent homelessness in the first instance, however when this has not been possible we offer the help they need to rebuild their lives and empower them to successfully move on from homelessness.
Join the Mayor of Broxtowe on a charity bike ride to raise money for Broxtowe Youth Homelessness.
Last year over 120,000 young people across the UK experience homelessness.
The money you raise from the bike ride will help us to continue providing our vital services – everything from the drop-in centre to training and volunteer opportunities, as well as emergency food and toiletry parcels.
