Thank You!!!

December 2016
Here at Broxtowe Youth Homelessness we would like to say a massive thank you to all of the amazing people and organisations that have offered support, raised money and donated items to us on the run up to Christmas. We have been overwhelmed with everyone’s generosity and it has made a big difference to our volunteers at Christmas and our project going forward into the new year.
West Bridgford Year 11 students raised an amazing amount of money through a non-uniform day, cake sales and various lunch time activities.
Interserve donated wonderful presents for our young volunteers and additional clothes and toiletries that will go to young people experiencing housing crisis.
Baldwins Accountants help stock up our food and toiletries cupboards, which will go out to people in need in the new year.
Staffline collected food and clothing but also fundraised for us, including a raffle to see England play at Wembley! They raised a large amount of money that will go toward our new drop-in centre and hope to continue to work with us.
Beeston Voices Choir chose Broxtowe Youth Homelessness as one of the charities that would benefit from the proceed of their Christmas Choir Concert and also invited us to speak to raise awareness.
Tesco in Toton provided Christmas hampers for all of our volunteers, which included hats, scarves, socks, toiletries and chocolate.
PW Motors in Stapleford made a very generous cash donation to continue to support the work we do.
Andy Melaugh (window cleaner) very kindly funded our Christmas party, meaning that all of our volunteers were able to get together and have a three course Christmas meal.
The Midland Hotel hosted our Christmas lunch, making us all feel welcome and giving us our own area of the pub to exchange presents and catch up.
We have also had many financial donations and donations of presents from friends and family of BYH.
We are finishing this year on a high and we are very excited to see what 2017 brings for BYH.
Thank you to everyone for your ongoing support, it really does mean the world to us!!!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
