The Community Team at Tesco in Toton have been supporting Broxtowe Youth Homelessness for several years now, working together with FareShare, providing training room, supplying Christmas presents and various other activities.
We were honoured to be invited to their 15th Birthday celebrations on Saturday 12th May. The Mayor of Broxtowe, Halimah Khaled MBE was in attendance and also the Community Champion Lead, Tracie Basra.
Tesco generous gave out donations to local charities and community groups that they work closely with and Broxtowe Youth Homelessness were lucky enough to receive items such as irons, pillows, bedding and towels. All very practical and will help our young people settle into their new accommodation.
