‘BIG’ BYH Funding News

October 2016
Broxtowe Youth Homelessness are very pleased to announce that we have been granted a further 3 years funding from the Big Lottery Fund. This takes the funding for our core projects up to February 2020!
Over the next 3 (and a bit) years BYH will be continuing to deliver existing services, with some changes, and will be developing our training programmes and the support we offer to young people who have experienced homelessness. The changes and developments to our services are a reflection of research BYH has undertaken with services users and professionals, but also in response to what we have been asked for from our current clients and our own observations.
Here at BYH the Big Lottery Fund has made it possible for us to provide much needed services, but more importantly it is going to allow us the opportunity to ensure we are a responsive service to the constant changes to housing, benefits and legislation. This will involve ongoing work and consultations, even the introduction of further services to meet the ever-changing needs. For this to be successful we need the continued support of the wonderful local organisations that support us, the Local Authorities we work with and other funders who want to help fill the gaps we identify.
We are excited about the future of BYH and the development of our services over the coming years.
