The Wesleyan Foundation (along with The Nottingham Building Society) funded the first year of our Drop In Worker’s salary to get the BYH Living Room project up and running. We were lucky enough to be one of 201 different projects that the Wesleyan Foundation funded, and therefore they invited us to their celebration event on 25th September at their Head Office in Birmingham.
Ayanna, the Drop In Worker, attended the event to represent BYH. The event was a celebration of all the work that the foundation has funded, with speakers from different organisations sharing stories of the work they have done with the funding they have received. There were also 4 art installations of trees, with each leaf representing the different organisations they have supported.
We are very grateful for the funding but also allowing us to attend the event and share in the success.
